Brittany + Samantha | Same-Sex Maternity Session | Lancaster, PA

I knew the stars were aligned correctly when Brittany reached out to me about photographing her and her wife's maternity session. Their birth announcement did include "future cat lover expected February 2021" after all... A cat lady's dream clients! Not only are they fellow cat lovers, but they're also fellow space enthusiasts. And anyone who's been around long enough knows it's a rare sighting to see me without my NASA shirt and astronaut cat socks on...

Brittany and Samantha wanted to add some astrophotography to their maternity session to make it extra special. Again, a photographer's dream! So we photographed their maternity photos as normal, grabbed some pizza from St Boniface Craft Brewing Co, and then headed back out. Shout out to them for braving the January cold!!

Middle Creek is an amazing place for stargazing and provided the perfect backdrop for Brittany and Samantha's maternity session! And while Middle Creek and the night sky and both very beautiful I think Brittany and Samantha really stole the show. I just love the way they are able to make each other laugh and bring so much comfort to one another. These two women are going to make incredible mothers to their little boy arriving any day now!
