Darrah + Pat | The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort | Pocono Mountains Wedding

This year’s wedding season went out with a bang! I still haven’t decided if I photographed a wedding or one of the greatest rock concerts of all time. If I learned anything about Pat and Darrah on their wedding day it’s that they know how to throw a party! The entire day was light-hearted, joyful and insanely fun.

The weather that day was absolutely perfect and The Lodge at Mountain Spring Lake provided a gorgeous backdrop for their special day. They included their pups in their ceremony which immediately made my heart melt. Darrah and Pat’s dogs wore the cutest bride and groom outfits made by Darrah’s mom. The pups walked down the aisles to greet Pat before Darrah’s mom and three sisters had the honor of escorting her down the aisle.

After the ceremony, the celebration kicked off. The live band kept the party going all night long and even gave me and my assistant a shout out and played my favorite Spice Girls song. There were hours of dancing, a cornut Thor cake, some moshing (yes, moshing!) and lots and lots of joy. Congrats again, Darrah and Pat!
