I love that I have clients that trust me enough to do some pretty weird things... Like show up to the side of a busy road that's littered with trash and animal bones for family photos. You need to scroll to the bottom of the post to see the location as you drive by...oof! But I knew in my head this could be one of those "what you see and what your photographer sees" kind of situations.

I had been eyeing up this patch of goldenrod (one of my favorites!) for weeks. I knew I wanted to photograph something there but didn't know what. When past client, Mariana, reached out about family photos I knew they'd be the perfect fit for something a bit...odd.

They're not afraid of the unconventional at all. And I knew they were laidback enough for something that required a little tromping through weeds. Hearing Mariana say she trusts me was all I need! And the results are some of my favorites from this fall!
