The Hess Family | Lifestyle Family Session | Lancaster, PA

I’ve been photographing this lovely family for over four years now, so I think it’s safe to say they hold a special place in my heart. They’ve been with my business since the very beginning and I’ve been with their family since it’s beginning. I’ve had the honor of photographing Jen and Todd’s elopement and the arrival of each their beautiful little ones. I’ve loved watching as each of their little ones has developed into their own wonderful, bold, adventurous, sometimes bashful, and always kind, individual selves. 

For this session, we opted for an in-home lifestyle session. I love lifestyle sessions because I really get to know my clients on a deeper level. Lifestyle sessions are more laid-back, kids feels more comfortable in their own home and I get to learn a little bit about their everyday life. 

I got to experience the “ticket game” were Tillie, Hazel, and Rocco line up and hand their daddy a “ticket” to be thrown into a giant pile of pillows. Each kid would slap their imaginary ticket into their dad's hand and begin to laugh uncontrollably before he even picked them up. There were also airplane rides, lots of snuggles, art time, unicorns and a few Spidermen during this family session. So I think it’s safe to safe we had lots of fun!
