It's always super intimidating to photograph a fellow photographer. Especially one you admire so much! Some of you might recognize Melissa. She's helped me capture many weddings throughout my wedding photographer career. She's muh gurrrrl!

I admire her work so much that I asked if she'd be interested in swapping photo sessions. Hey... me and my cats need family photos too! Besides being nervous about photographing such a talented photographer I was nervous about working with the oh-so-famous Cora!!

Melissa is so good at capturing her little ones on her own. Some of her photos of Cora are some of my favorites! She captures both Cora and Nolan's personalities so well. And because I know she has lots of wonderful photos of her little ones already I wanted to make sure I got lots of family shots. Since Melissa is always behind the camera I made sure she and Dave were in lots of photos!
